Dr. Joseph Ty Bell, MD

Dr. Bell earned his medical degree in 1988. He then completed a family practice residency program in 1991. Dr. Bell sought out his residency training program due to its heavy emphasis on surgical and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Bell completed his training and performed operative obstetrics, gynecologic procedures, and in-office procedures such as colposcopy and vasectomy.

Although the reality of private family practice did not equate to that of "Marcus Welby, MD", Dr. Bell did carry his procedurally oriented training into his switch to full-time emergency medicine. In this field, he has maintained a reliance on his surgical/procedural training in the treatment of his E.D. patients, some with life threatening conditions.

Now with the advancement of laser/injection medicine for the treatment of peripheral venous diseases, Dr. Bell is drawn to another avenue in procedural medicine, and now offers the latest therapy for peripheral venous disease.
